I was born in London on April 10th and, until I was 18 and moved to University, I lived there my whole life.
Since a young age I have always had a passion for the performing arts. I started Ballet classes at age four and since then have taken a variety of classes and examinations, in classical ballet, Jazz, Tap, character and modern dance.
I decided at sixteen to continue my education at 6th form and studied Theatre, Literature and Media studies at A’ Level, and also Sociology and General studies at A/S’Level; receiving all grades A-C.
At eighteen I left home and moved to Hertfordshire to go to university to study a degree in Literature and Theatre, which was part of the Humanities programme. However in my final year I became ill and had to defer the year. Unfortunately my university removed Drama from the programme, so I am now set to graduate with a degree in Literature and Philosophy.
Although I loved drama it is not something that I plan on ever leave behind in my life just because my course has changed. I enjoy Philosophy and although it’s never something I really thought about studying I find it very interesting and worth while.
I began modelling after my long term boyfriend spotted an advert in our university paper for the Miss Hertfordshire beauty pageant. I thought that it sounded like fun however did not think that I would ever be chosen to take part in the final show. He took some simple snaps in the house and we sent them off. I couldn’t believe when I got the phone call to say I was to be in the final. I had an amazing time; best of all the girls were lovely I have made some life long and great friends.
Once I had a taste for modelling I wanted more so entered the Miss Greater London contest where I met some contacts and girls who helped me get some information on starting out in the modelling world.
I did the odd shoot until summer 2006 when I decided to take it seriously. I have recently been taken on by Mackenzie models and I am hoping to start working in acting and presenting along with modelling in 2007.
I hope to make a full time career in this industry and travel the world; which luckily in this industry I will hopefully be able to do.
